We are the Airbus inhouse top-management consultancy hosted in Defence & Space as our home base. A young, interdisciplinary team of consultants with a mix of university graduates and experienced consultants from leading strategy consultancies. Digital Transformation Project
Based on a benchmark analysis, we identified several areas for improvement in the Digital/ IT environment of Airbus Defence & Space. This included a general update of the Digital strategy and organisation as well as concrete measures around IT cost and delivery.
Airbus Management Consulting supported the client in creating concrete improvement measures along 15 levers, compiling profound business cases and developing implementation plans. Furthermore, we developed the new Digital/ IT organizational and operating model. As our work is not done with concepts, we also supported the client in the first months of implementation.
Marketing & Sales Project
The Marketing & Sales organization within Airbus Defence & Space needed to adjust their structure to better respond to the needs of the regions and constantly changing business environments.
Airbus Management Consulting was asked to hold an organizational analysis and to provide recommendations on how to better organize our teams around core activities and processes.
The consulting team performed analysis and interviews with numerous stakeholders of the Airbus Defence & Space Marketing & Sales organizations, resulting in a multi-phase strategy plan on how to reorganize our workforce to focus on key marketing activities.

- (Visiting) Consultant
During your studies, you have the chance to get to know us during an internship. You will be fully integrated into a project team and get to know the real life of a Consultant. Once you have finished your studies with a Master's degree, you will join us as a consultant and will be responsible for carrying out defined work packages, as well as supporting the preparation of workshops and presentations as part of the project team. Besides your project engagement, an intense training plan ensures quick learning and development.
- Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant, you will use your consulting experience to lead individual work streams within a project and work closely with clients to analyze and solve complex problems. Internally, you will support the Consulting Group in knowledge management and recruiting.
- (Senior) Project Manager
As a (Senior) Project Manager, you are the “CEO” of the project. You will take overall responsibility for project results and be a trusted advisor to your clients. Furthermore, you act as a mentor for the development of (Senior) Consultants, are involved in recruiting and take responsibility for specific internal tasks.
- Partner
As a Partner, you are the management of the Consulting Group. Besides overlooking several projects, you are responsible for client management and identifying the areas where AMC can support the Group best. Together with the Top Management of the Group, you discuss the relevant questions to develop Airbus further.
