Joerg Bischof is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Airbus Helicopters North America.
Joerg is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. He also oversee all Company matters of a contractual nature towards Airbus Helicopters Inc.'s customers, both commercial and military.
Joerg began working at EADS, now Airbus Group, in 2000 as a team leader preparing and negotiating commercial proposals in Germany. He later served as head of contracts for military programs and head of commercial programs, where he was responsible for all commercial and financial matters for EADS Military Air Systems.
Before joining Airbus Helicopters North America, Joerg worked as a sales manager for BMW/Rolls Royce in Germany.
Joerg has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on aeronautical engineering from RWTH Aachen in Germany. He also earned a graduate degree in economics in 1997 from RWTH Aachen. Joerg served in the German Air Force.
